Ukazała się pierwsza oficjalna wersja przeglądarki Google Chrome dla platformy Linux i Mac. Co prawda wydanie to jest jeszcze w fazie beta, jednak posiada wszystkie funkcje obecne w wersji pod Windows, a dodatkowo można zauważyć wyniki prac nad integracją ze środowiskiem linuksowym, np. dzięki możliwości korzystania z natywnych tematów GTK, oraz domyślnej dekoracji okien. Dzisiaj zniecierpliwieni po 8 miesięcznym czekaniu użytkownicy openSUSE ujrzeli na bannerach informujących postęp wydania napis "Już dostępny!". Oznacza to, że długo oczekiwana dystrybucja openSUSE 11.2 została oficjalnie wydana! Nie ukrywając błędów poprzedniej wersji, mamy nadzieję, że dzisiejsza publikacja rozwieje wątpliwości wszelkich krytyków tej dystrybucji. Najważniejszą zmianą jest oczywiście nowy, poprawiony z błędów kernel o numerku 2.6.31.
